Q. I am not vegan or vegetarian. Will I enjoy these classes?

The Sporkies have been teaching for years for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike. Our recipes satisfy the most hungry carnivore. We believe that great food is just great food, plain and simple.

Q: What does the word "vegan" mean?

The word vegan describes someone who does not eat any animal products and does not wear, or use the animal products in their daily life. To the Sporkies, being vegan means leading a thoughtful life that is respectful of the environment, animals, other humans and your own health.

Q: How does a Spork class work?

Heather and Jenny begin each class by introducing themselves and their guest students. Then they get cooking and create a meal consisting of four dishes. After the recipes are all finished, the guests sit down in the dining room and enjoy the meal – which is full of enticing conversation and mmms and aaahs. This is your chance to dine with them and get a sneak peek into the lives of some amazing people, who all have something interesting to bring to the table.

Q: Can I log into my account from another computer?

Yes, but you can only log in from one computer at a time.

Q: Can I share my password?

We sincerely ask that you do not share your user ID and password with anyone else. To do so would jeopardize our ability to sustain sporkonline.com at an affordable rate. Only one user ID per member will be permitted to access to sporkonline.com at a time. If this ID and password is used in multiple locations simultaneously we will terminate your subscription until ownership is verified.

Q: If I am in Los Angeles, can I take a class from the Spork girls in person?

Sure! We would love to have you join us for a class and learn from us in person! The Sporkies offer classes on a regular basis, where you can eat, shmooze and hang with us in the kitch. Please visit us at www.sporkfoods.com for our full class schedule.

Q: What should I do if my video player is not working?

Your video player probably needs an update. If you can't stream the videos, try updating your video player (i.e. flash or quicktime). If that doesn't do the trick, please e-mail info@sporkonline.com

Q: I live outside of The United States. Will this prevent me from participating in Sporkonline.com?

As long as you have access to the internet you'll be able to participate! We encourage people from all over the world to become subscribers and become part of the Sporkonline.com community.

Q: If I don't have access to a natural market, will I be able to re-create your recipes?

Yes! Part of our mission is creating recipes that you will be able to replicate in your own home kitchen. On occasion you may have to purchase products online. If you have difficulty finding something please feel free to contact us directly and we will do our best to help you locate the product.

Q: I have health issues. Can I use sporkonline.com to heal my ailments?

The Sporkies are huge fans of healthy living, preventing illness and healing yourself through eating whole and nutritious foods. This website is a tool for you to learn about healthy and delicious eating, which is an important part of leading a healthy life. Jenny studied at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and the Culinary Arts in New York City, where the medicinal qualities of the foods were a large part of the curriculum. However, the Sporkies are not nutritionists or doctors, and if you are ill please seek the guidance of a medical professional that you trust. And, eat well!
